Adverbs poem:

I used to know an adverb,
It spoke with much intent.
It said it had to help the verbs,
I didn’t know what it meant.
It slyly smiled when I asked,
If it could be more clear.
“Verbs may be action words” it said,
“But I give them life, you hear?”
